Me: "Hey! Do you know what I bought? It starts with 'W' and you eat them for breakfast with maple syrup..."
Phil: "Ummm..."
Me: "Rhymes with "squaffles..."
Phil: "Ummm... Quaffles?"

Mmmmmm waffles. Look Phil I do believe there is someone at the door for you. I'll just sit here with the Mrs. Butterworth's syrup, glass o' milk and ummm keep an eye on your Eggo for you... yeah that's the ticket. Go on go get the door. I double dare you.

...hummm well if it's Butterworth's syrup, you can keep it. I'm kinda very selective about my Quebec no.4 clear maple syrup (thanks grandma for sending me another batch!!!).

Sorry Mia, you'll have to excuse Phil's eccentricities.... he's French Canadian- but hey, we can't all be perfect.

Yes, yes, yes... you just want to keep that precious reserve also. Remember how you used to be before you tasted that sweet Quebec maple syrup!! ;-)

It's okay Lou but what's the deal with the numbered syrup? What's the difference between ummm # 4 syrup and # 8?

Ahhhh forgive me Phil I am young and inexperienced in the ways of maple syrup. I’ve been hooked on Mrs. Butterworth’s ever since I was 5 yrs old and saw her chatting away during breakfast in a commercial . I immediately made my mom buy me the stuff and no matter how hard I tried Mrs. Butterworth wouldn’t talk to me at the breakfast table. However hope springs eternal and 19 yrs later I’m still trying to get that heffa to talk to me.

She spoke to me once... but I might have been under the influence...
