Spooky

I am continually spooked by the "brain" in my iTunes- the way it seems to know just what to play on shuffle to suit my mood.

However it just freaked the hell out of me.

In China, we get anywhere from the government mandated 3 days to a whole week off for the May 1 holiday (Labour Day) holiday.

Still on my holiday, I just opened iTunes, and sure enough the first song to be randomly selected was "Labor Day (It's A Holiday)" by The Black Eyed Peas.

Spooky.

UPDATED: Oh my god, after I just wrote that it played "Spooky" by Dusty Springfield. I am slowly backing away from the computer.....

Totally off-subject, but I want to know if your art website is up-to-date... I really like The Seminary, Study in Depth, and Linear. Do you have any new pieces to add??

(I'm finally ready to start filling out our walls in the new place. And for god's sake, we don't have the American flag flying 24/7 - that was the previous owner. He had a spotlight on it that would light up all night until our (very reasonable) neighbors suggested to him it was a little bothersome.)

And I don't have an iPod or MP3 player, but I do hum a lot...

Hi Mignon,

I'm afraid my art website is really NOT up to date, but it should be soon. There are a bunch of 20 or so paintings that I have to add, most of which were in my exhibition this year so you can see them in the February 2007 archives (Feb 1st) on this blog. I'll be updating the websiteasap, and i'll let you know then! The ones you liked are old ones that are still in australia- the only one available for sale would be Linear. I can do a reproduction (re-painting) of Study in Depth, but unfortunately the Seminary was from a collage of linoleum prints, and I can't redo that here.

As always, feel free to email me: loudcreations@gmail.com

Ah yes. Now I remember looking at them. I like Patchwork, and I like the Dripping series, but individually I find them a little scary. Except for Skyscrapers. The colors are maybe more soothing in that one? I don't know. And Birth - I like that. Thanks for your e-mail (again!) - I'll send you a message.
