My kinda diet

While I was standing at the counter of Starbucks this morning (yes, I ordinarily hate Starbucks, it's over-priced bad coffee and everything it represents, but in China there are very little options available for coffee drinkers, and even fewer at 7.15am) I heard the man next to me say:

"I'll have a Tall Latte with non-fat milk... and whipped cream"

Is it just me or does the whipped cream kinda cancel out the non-fat milk?

Ha! I hated Starbucks at home, mostly because $4 or $5 for a cup of coffee is insane! but when I see it here, it's like a beacon of hope for caffeine addicts. I know I'm going to get coffee that was actually brewed, and actually tastes like coffee. Somehow the insane price is more acceptable when they're the only show in town.

I totally know what you mean- I used to turn my nose up at starbucks, but now I'm all for it... in China, that is!

'Wicked' sense of humour and if it helps, "The journey IS the destination". There is no mystery, sorry....Enjoy, that's it....

Starbucks for me at least is like a hot milkshake. Every now and then I treat myself to one even though it's so expensive. Coffee in my house comes in one flavor and that would be ummm coffee.

I totally agree, I hate Starbucks. Every time I go (means: not often) the beverage is lukewarm, and why do they have to put such large quantities? It's not real coffee, it's all water!
